On 23rd of November, approximately 70 representatives from the Asia Pacific Contact Centre Association Leaders (APCCAL) coming from Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc., and members of Hong Kong Contact Centre Association (HKCCA) visited Guangzhou Nansha. They first visited the office of Nansha District Government upon arrival, and then visited the contact centre operated by Guangzhou EPRO Information Technology Company Limited (GZ EPRO).

Information Centre Officer of Guangdong Disabled Persons’ Federation (GDDPF), Mr. Sun Hui Min delivered the opening speech by appealing for the support and attention to disabled person employment and development in the contact centre industry. After that, management of GZ EPRO provided brief introduction to the background of its holding company, EPRO GROUP, so as the beliefs in establishing this disabled person employment-oriented contact centre jointly with GDDPF, as well as the operation situation at present. After operating for less than a year, GZ EPRO is now employing over a hundred of telemarketers and customer service representatives, among which over 60% are disabled person employee, providing both inbound hotline and outbound telemarketing services with recognized and proven service performance.

This activity successfully came to an end with positive and encouraging feedback among the Asia-Pacific contact centre leaders. Being the certified social enterprise in the Business Process Outsourcing industry, GZ EPRO shall keep exploring more contact service business opportunities to allow our disabled person contact centre agents with more exposure and possibility to develop their potential and career in the field, fulfilling our slogan of this visit – ‘Disability shall further spark the Beauty of Humanity’.
